Parallel Dynamics of Neural Networks with Correlated Patterns

A new formalism using contravariant coordinates is proposed for treating parallel dynamics with correlated patterns, including S and V models, as well as patterns with low firing rate. For the latter, various scenarios of transient memory retrieval are found around unstable memory fixed points.
