Particle Swarm Optimization of a class of nonlinear medical problems

Nonlinear problems of fourth order appear in medical analysis. Most research focus on the existence of solutions by topological indices and critical point theory. Inspired by the effective randomized searching nature of PSO, this paper presents a new technique of optimizing fourth order nonlinear problems. We also give an example that satisfies the conditions of a previous result of CC Pang. Experiments are presented to show the effect of the algorithms.
