Multi-Processor Data Acquisition for Multi-Detectors at GANIL

A modular data acquisition system using MC68xxx microprocessors and VME buses for parallel data read-out and processing is described. It has been designed for a multi-detector system at GANIL but its principles should be easily applied to the conception of other systems. Under construction, it must be operating at the end of 1987.
