Vector-coherent-state representations of so(5) in an so(3) basis
DAVID J. ROWE · Journal of Mathematical Physics · 1994
Vector coherent state theory is used to give an algorithm for constructing the so(5) irreps of type [N,0] and [N,N] in the physical so(3) basis. The construction is remarkably simple and permits the matrices of the so(5) operators, for irreps of low-dimension and/or small multiplicities, to be computed by hand. The construction is applied to the [2,0] and [2,2] irreps to illustrate the process.
