Software security has been a well-established area of study for years, and has gradually gained worldwide acceptance. Secured software is becoming more and more important in all aspects of life. It has been observed that secured software has become a top priority for new IT investment.1 It is proved that security can not be achieved only with the help of firewalls, antivirus etc. Secure development processes are a must to achieve secured software. The software development team is faced with the challenge of integrating security within the development life cycle to deliver secured software. Everyone involved in software development, deployment, or procurement understands the need for and importance of incorporating security, but unfortunately, one is also unaware of the concepts of security and its implementation.
