On Oscillation of Inhomogeneous Fibres with Imperfect Interfaces

This work deals with an asymptotic model of oscillation of an inhomogeneous fibre containing a layer of imperfect interface (thin adhesive layer). We derive a lower-dimensional model and study propagation of waves associated with the displacement jump across the interface.
