On the Width and Energy of Domain Walls in Small Multi-Domain Particles

A two-domain ferromagnetic particle is considered. It is shown that the inclusion of the magnetostatic energy in the derivation of the wall characteristics yields values of these characteristics considerably different from those in bulk material.
