Android is the first platform after Microsoft Windows to become a prime target for cyber-criminals. This statement has been made by most IT security specialists since 2011. But why Android over other (mobile) platforms? Perhaps it's because the three crucial factors for any crime – motive, means and opportunity – are now present in Android.
