Implementation of distributed processing for administrative applications

The concept of distributed data processing and its implementation at LASL are described. Software and hardware systems used are discussed. Three typical applications are presented: potential emloyee data entry, data entry and local processing in the Supply and Property Department, and distributed data base application for the Information Services Department. 6 figures, 2 tables.
