Information Integrity is the trustworthiness or dependability of information. More specifically, it is the accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information content, processes, and systems. Today’s approach to Information Integrity is fragmented, ad-hoc, and unscientific. This paper will examine current practices related to Information Integrity, discuss a new framework, and explain why Information Integrity is an exciting new frontier for quality professionals and others.
