The Mechanism of Software Trustworthiness Growth based on Evolution

Abstract—Based on the software evolution theory, this pa-per discusses the software trustworthiness growth process in which software trustworthiness gradually develops from low trustworthy state into high trustworthy state, presents the cycle model of software trustworthiness growth and sum-marizes the key factors of influencing trustworthiness growth. On this basis, the relative expansion concepts of trustworthy software are put forward, five typical charac-teristics of software trustworthiness are analyzed and soft-ware trustworthiness evolution system is constructed, which have great significance in correctly understanding the es-sence of software trustworthiness and exploring the strategy and technology of software trustworthiness growth.
