CLONES CONTAINING MAL'TSEV OPERATIONS

It is shown that the number of clones on a k element set that contain a Mal'tsev operation and all k constants is finite iff k≤3. This answers a part of a question of Ralph McKenzie and Ivo Rosenberg from [8], who asked if, on a finite set, the number of clones containing a Mal'tsev operation can be infinite.
