Selection starts the cycle

I earn my livelihood as a senior systems consultant. I do design, analysis, troubleshooting, technical audits, project management in cases of emergency, some cost studies, and even some management training. This morning I'd like to offer you my view of the computer field. As a matter of fact, I think I know how it's structured, personnel-wise that is, and I'm going to show you a model of it in a minute. I'd then like to indicate where there are a few problems and encourage you all to discuss these needs when you have your Saturday morning wrap-up session. On Saturday I hope you will discuss these needs and maybe see if the SIG can't come up with some methods and an organized program to attack some of these chronic needs of the field.
