A improved video watermarking scheme based on spread-spectrum technique
Luo Wei · 2010
This paper presents a improved video watermarking technology based on the MPEG-4 standard and the spread-spectrum technique. The watermarks are embedded in the luminance's DCT direct current coefficient of the video's ‘I’ frames. It need not to decode fully when the watermarking is embedded and extracted. As a result, the complication of operation is predigested and the capability of real time is improved. Furthermore, experimental results show that because the watermark is embedded in the luminance's DCT direct current coefficient rather than in the chroma's DCT direct current coefficient, the video effect is distorted less, and the watermark is still steady.
