Inversion of partitioned matrices with patterned blocks
Stephen Mark Barnett · International Journal of Systems Science · 1983
Any partitioned matrix, each of whoso blocks has the same pattern amongst its elements, is similar to a matrix in which this pattern occurs in block form. This transformation is advantageous for the purpose of inversion. A simple derivation is given using the Kronecker matrix product.
