Temperature-control system for use with a spectrophotometer
Sidney W. Thorne · Journal of Scientific Instruments · 1960
A scheme is outlined for the accurate control of the temperature of a standard 5 cm cuvette and contents. Any temperature over, for example, a range of 30-80° C may be selected to an accuracy of ±0.1° C with a subsequent control variation of the order of ±0.05° C. A checkpoint and interpolation method is described to achieve this selection accuracy. An electromagnetic method designed to provide remote stirring is indicated.
