How to Build Your Own Verb Conjugator

Wayne V. Teeter · The English Journal · 1973

DIRECTIONS: Cut out the base, wheels, and back on the following pages. (Or use those pages to make a pattern for a cardboard conjugator.) Punch out holes shown. Holding the base so that the printed side faces you, push a paper fastener through each of the two holes, the rounded head of each fastener facing you. Now place the base, printed side down, on a table or desk. Put the verb wheel, printed side down, on the fastener in hole 1. Put the tense wheel, printed side down, on the fastener in hole 2. Line up the holes in the back with the paper fasteners. Slide on the back, and spread the flanges of the fasteners. The verb conjugator is ready to operate!
