Designing Pages with Frames
Yvonne W. Zhang, Kenneth L. Kirkland · The Serials Librarian · 1999
Frames are singular features used to structure a Webpage for effective navigation, organization, and appearance. A hands-on computer lab demonstration of the principles of frame use and construction followed a formal slide presentation. Participants needed an intermediate knowledge of HTML. Illustrations and exercises centered on HTML tags that are basic to frames, including relevant attributes, and special tags pertaining to frames. The presentation included resource Webpages with tutorials, design ideas, and links to pages showing effective use of frames, as well as bad examples.
