Protecting the code against side attacks using chaotically controlled clock and supply

Emanuel-Florin Iftene, Horia-Nicolai Teodorescu · 2013

This paper is the third in a series of papers reporting on the results of protecting the microcontroller executed code against side attacks. The protection consists in randomizing, under the control of a chaotic circuit, of both the clock and the power supply voltage of a microcontroller. The results obtained by this double randomization are compared with the ones obtained with either clock or power supply randomization.
