A note on boundary layer effects in periodic homogenization with Dirichlet boundary conditions

This paper focus on the properties of boundary layers in periodic homogenizationof Dirichlet boundary value problems. We consider here the case of Dirichlet problems inrectangular domains which have an oscillating boundary, emphasizing the influence of boundarylayers on interior error estimates.
