Application of probability filter to signal processing problems

A method of signal filtering based on the maximum likelihood principle is presented. This method provides elimination of random distortions caused by noises, conserving local specific features of the signal. The concept of probability filtering ensures processing of both discrete and piecewise-continuous signals.
