Amplitude distributions of filteredm-sequences

The skewing that is found to occur in the amplitude distributions of filtered m-sequences is discussed. The extent of the skewing is shown to vary considerably far different m-sequences of the same length. A method of selecting characteristic polynomials to minimize the skewing is described.
