Blind phase recovery using finite alphabet propertiesin digital communications

The authors propose a method for blind phase recovery based on finite alphabet properties (FAP) which can provide an accurate estimate even for a small subset of data. The phase and the data sequences are estimated simultaneously by using a maximum llkelihood (ML) approach and an alternating projection technique.
