Probability based dipole localization and individual localization error calculation in biomagnetism
Bernhard J. Scholz, Arnulf Oppelt · Proceedings of the Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society · 1992
The concept of locally optimal dipole vectors for current dipoles is presented. This allows current dipole localization with localization probabilities which are spatially dependent. Dipole locations and the corresponding localization errors are obtained by calculating expectation values. These localization probability densities can also be combined with the MUSIC algorithm.
