A thermal relaxation oscillator for temperature measurements

A relaxation oscillator, using a temperature dependent resistance associated with a negative resistance dipole, is described. It is shown that the frequency of oscillation is a linearly increasing function of the ambient temperature. Experimental results to confirm the theory are included.
