Audio/Video Bridging (AVB) is an available Ethernet-based standard designed as an affordable network for real-time multimedia streams. There are several studies trying to use this technology as the backbone of embedded real time systems. In the context of critical embedded systems, guarantees on the worst case delay (aka worst case traversal time, WCTT) must be provided.
