Formation of four-fold dislocation nodes in a body-centred cubic iron

Experimental evidence for an interaction which results in a four-fold dislocation node in body-centred cubic iron is reported. This finding is in accordance with the dislocation reaction earlier predicted (Lindroos 1970); furthermore, such a node resembles the corresponding dislocation configuration observed in f.c.c. networks (Lindroos and Miekk-oja 1969).
