On a lower semicontinuity approach in the study of nonlinear elliptic systems

In this paper, we consider nonlinear elliptic systems and use a lower semicontinuity concept developed for systems to solve them. Also, using well-known results about the maximum principle for systems, we find positive solutions. Finally, we give applications to biharmonic equations.
