J. Rekveld · American Journal of Physics · 1969
A brief survey is given of four new approaches to the teaching of special relativity, namely the so-called k calculus, methods based on the invariance of the space-time interval, the dynamical approach, and the introduction by means of thought experiments. Each approach has been illustrated with a few examples.
