A new method for the three-dimensional display of tomographic images
Gavin J. Gibson · Physics in Medicine and Biology · 1983
Describes a simple, rapid method for the display of three-dimensional surfaces which can be applied to complex objects, and is therefore ideally suited to the display of medical images. The method is illustrated with reference to radionuclide tomography (ECAT) but could be applied to the data from any tomographic imaging modality.
