SoBig.F has been named the biggest and fastest spreading virus of all time. It is actually a blended threat that is designed to spread in three stages: spread as a worm, install a backdoor Trojan, and install a proxy server. The SoBig.F outbreak occurred in August 2003 but it did not start there. In tracing the history of the SoBig worms, our story begins on January 9, 2003.
