The RSA algorithm (abstract only)
Josh Jones · ACM communications in computer algebra · 2008
My project is a brief introduction for the RSA Algortim. This project will include a very brief history of where RSA originated, as well as how the RSA algorthim works. Following this, the mathematical proof of RSA is presented along with the two necessary theorems needed to prove RSA. The final portion of my presentation includes some of the potential threats to RSA and how to prevent these attacks, including a chart of the strength of RSA based on time required to crack RSA in MIPS-Years where the only factor is the size of the key.
