Strategies for QoS improvement on the time-interval scheduling

In this paper we analyze the interference among the non-preemptive segments in the time-interval problem. Also, we explore the subject of fixed priority assignment for those segments through a suboptimal algorithm. Consequently, the offline feasibility test becomes less pessimistic resulting in higher QoS values comparing to previous studies.
