In the USA, Metropolitan Industries Inc is helping the village of Romeoville, near Chicago, to improve the way in which it monitors and controls its water treatment facilities. The company has evaluated and analyzed the village's existing system and, as Metropolitan's Joseph Sanchez explains, has installed a wireless supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system that offers improved performance, reliability and security.
