Functionality of multilayer Boolean neural networks

The letter presents a method for calculating the functionality of a multilayer neural network (MLN) using logical nodes. The method is demonstrated with reference to six network topologies, and a cost/functionality ratio is proposed as an assessment metric for MLNs.
