Robust correction step for CFA interpolation schemes

This paper prcscnts an efficient poslprocessin~correction method capable 01 rcducing visual artificts introduccd during the color filler array interpolation process. Edge-sensing weights and the original color lilter array data are uscd to detect structural elements in the original image and correct prcviously interpolated color components accordingly. The method produces excellent results in tcrms of both objective and subjective image quality measures.
