Creating a set of optimal objects using partial preference information

A strict formulation of the problem of creating a set that includes a determined number of preferred components from a prescribed finite aggregate of objects, where a partial quasiorder is defined, is given. The properties of the optimal and nondominated sets that involve objects are examined.
