An automated system for data acquisition and analysis of long term sleep recordings for circadian studies

A microcomputer based system is presented that on line detects the EEG and EMG elements relevant for sleep studies and off line performs state scoring and statistical analysis. The system is oriented to long term sleep recording in the context of circadian studies.
