A system for measurement of surface charge densities on tubular electrets

A measuring system to determin the projected charge density distribution on the surface of tubular electrets, for biomedical applications (in particular neural prostheses) is described. The proposed technique represents an extension of cylindrical geometries of an induction-based method usually adopted for planar films.
