Myocardial strain is a dimensionless quantity and is produced by application of stress. It represents the fractional or percentage change from the original or unstressed dimension and includes both lengthening, or expansion and shortening, or compression. In this paper, we proposed an algorithm to identify the heart dysfunctions through the comparison of the normalized strain and strain rate curves based on cubic B-spline interpolation, after non linear deformation of strain curves and vertical rescaling, abnormal curves can be identified visually based on the curves. Numerical verification of the proposed algorithm illustrated the effectiveness of it.
