A parallel special-purpose computer dedicated to the simulation of interacting particle systems

Giovanni Danese, Ivo De Lotto, Domenico Dotti, Francesco Leporati · Computers in Physics · 1997

A parallel special-purpose computer for computational physics is presented. It works as an interactive desktop system with a user-friendly interface; its performance is comparable to that of a supercomputer. Its rationale, system hardware, software architecture, and performance are described by presenting a Monte Carlo-Metropolis simulation of an interacting particle system. © 1997 American Institute of Physics.
