Measuring Program Output

Paul H. Rigby · California Management Review · 1976

This article proposes a technique for assessing the subjective transformation function for managers of programs with multiattributed output. Input and output scales are developed to provide a framework within which to assess the decision-maker9s judgment. Several techniques are outlined for assessing subjective transformation functions within this framework. The entire approach is based on an interactive process with the decision maker to assist him in making explicit his assumptions.
