In a conventional cryptosystem, the sender and the receiver have a common encryption/decryption key. The purpose of this paper is to solve the digital signature problem based on a conventional cryptosystem. We propose a digital signature protocol to handle this problem. In short, our protocol can allow any sender to send an indefinite number of blocks of messages and sign a signature onto each transmitted block. There exists an authentication server to publish the sender's public values. The authentication server's main purpose is to determine who is right in case of questions. The sender is only required to select some public values and register them with the authentication server. The receiver, on the other hand, can check the correctness of the received messages and the sender's signature by performing some easy computations.
