An Unconventional Queer Multiplexing Technique for SSDs

Dixit Vyas · IETE Journal of Education · 2008

In conventional multiplexing of more than one Seven Segment Display (SSD), all a-segments, all b-segments, all c-segments etc. are connected for all SSDs. The present paper initially discusses the single sided PCB design for the conventional technique with its advantages and drawbacks. Thereafter, the unconventional novel multiplexing technique is discussed with its advantages and drawbacks. This is a queer but a novel technique. The queer and novel technique can place a hurdle in counterfeiting of the circuit design.
