On the polynomial matrix equation AX + YB = C

In this note an algorithm for finding a unique solution\{X, Y\}of the bilateral polynominal matrix equationAX + YB = Cis presented. The solution is obtained by solving a set of linear equations. Relations between the bilateral polynomial equation and the unilateral one are also discussed.
