Remarks on the Kinematics of Multiperipheral Processes

We study the implications of requiring that the "subenergies" ${s}_{i}$ and the momentum transfers ${t}_{i}$ of a multiple production process be in the Regge domain. We show that even for very high-energy accelerator or cosmic-ray processes, the ${s}_{i}$ are too small compared to the ${t}_{i}$ and the masses for one to apply a multi-Regge formalism for the two-particle \ensuremath{\rightarrow} $n$-particle amplitude. Some alternatives are suggested.
