THE LEE-SCHEME AND BOUNDS FOR LEE-CODES

An association scheme, suitable for studying error-correcting codes in the Lee-metric, is studied. Its first and second eigenvalues are derived. These are then used to obtain bounds for the code size via the linear programming method.
