State space physics
M. Sparks · Physics Education · 1967
The purpose of this paper is to show how physics education can be both simplified and strengthened through the use of the powerful method called the state space approach . This physical approach, which is based on the mathematical methods of vector spaces, is an elegant and compact way of formulating and solving physical and mathematical problems, including problems from such seemingly diverse fields as quantum mechanics, electromagnetic theory, systems analysis, differential and integral equations and many others.
