The top performing algorithm in independent evaluations by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is now capable of providing reliable results in real-world environments and the technology is being deployed today in airports to enable everything from automated immigration processes, improved surveillance and security, seamless passenger travel and the gathering of valuable statistical information pertaining to passenger movements.
