CONTROL chart methods1developed extensively in connection with mechanical tolerances are useful in controlling the frequency-response characteristics of electro-acoustic receivers. The entire frequency response of a receiver can be kept within statistical control by controlling the critical regions alone. Two of these critical regions are described.
